Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: 01 January 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all booking cancellations, refunds, and related financial adjustments for services provided by Safe Express Packers and Movers. By booking our relocation or logistics services, you agree to the terms described below.
1. Booking Confirmation & Advance Payment
A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the agreed advance payment. The advance amount secures manpower allocation, vehicle scheduling, route planning, and packaging material procurement.
2. Cancellation by Customer
A. Cancellation 48 Hours Before Service Date
If cancellation is requested at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service date, the customer may be eligible for a partial refund after deducting administrative and processing charges.
B. Cancellation Within 24–48 Hours
If cancellation occurs within 24–48 hours of the scheduled date, operational and manpower allocation costs may be deducted. Refund eligibility will depend on expenses already incurred.
C. Cancellation Within 24 Hours or Same Day
If cancellation is made within 24 hours of service or on the same day, the advance payment may be non-refundable due to operational commitments and resource allocation.
3. Cancellation Due to Incomplete Information
If a booking is cancelled because the customer provided incorrect inventory details, inaccessible locations, or undisclosed additional items leading to service disruption, refund eligibility may be limited.
4. Company-Initiated Cancellation
In rare circumstances where the Company is unable to provide service due to unavoidable operational reasons, a refund of the advance payment will be processed after review.
5. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original mode of payment. Processing time may vary depending on banking systems.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
- After successful completion of service
- For packing materials already used
- For labor already deployed
- For vehicle allocation and route booking costs
- For last-minute cancellation without valid reason
7. Insurance & Damage Claims
Refund requests related to damaged goods are handled separately under the insurance and claims procedure outlined in our Terms & Conditions. Refunds are not automatically granted for transit damages unless covered under valid insurance policy.
8. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable to issue refunds for delays or service disruption caused by natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or other events beyond reasonable control.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute regarding refunds shall be resolved amicably. If unresolved, it shall be subject to arbitration as per applicable Indian laws.
10. Policy Updates
Safe Express Packers and Movers reserves the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
